Bike
We sell biker discount tickets to attendees who, in advance, agree to bike from the Twin Cities to the festival. That’s about 80 miles RT.
We are delighted to announce that in 2009, 2011 & 2012 we reached our goal of having more than 50% of our attendees bike to the festival. Help us continue that tradition in 2013.

Minneapolis bikers will meet at the HUB Bike COOP, 3020 Minnehaha Ave South, at 9:30 AM and depart at 10AM on Saturday the 11th. A sag wagon will be on hand to carry camping gear for registered riders.
St. Paul bikers will meet at Cycles For Change (formerly Sibley Bike Depot), 712 University Avenue St. Paul, at 10 AM and depart at approximately 10:30 AM when the Mpls bikers arrived. Summit will be on hand to transport camping gear for St. Paul bikers.
Stillwater riders met at The Bikery, 904 4th St. Stillwater, at 11 AM and took a non-direct route to the festival grounds and arrived at 1PM when the festival gate opened.
Stillwater and Marine on St. Croix bikers are on their own with no discount!
On Sunday August 11th, both the sag wagon will depart between 9-9:30 AM. The sag wagon will drop off gear at the same departure point bikers left from on Saturday August 10th.
Bikers who arrive to the festival gate who have not pre-registered for the ride in advance cannot be granted reduced admission. Children 12 and under are free.
If, after paying the biker pre-registration, you decide to drive from Mpls/St. Paul to the event, just pay the remaining amount. You still receive the online admission since you pre-registered.
-You may register multiple riders. Just make sure you list all the names in the “Optional Payment” portion of the PayPal payment. Also, please state whether you will have gear for the Peace Coffee or Summit sag wagon in the “note” area of your Paypal payment.”
We only sell 225 biker discount tickets, and end online biker discount sales on 8/7/13 at midnight. Don’t delay.
After you’ve submitted your registry payment, you’ll be signed up for the ride. We’ll contact you before the event to confirm ride status and provide any last minute information.
-Volunteer ride stewards with basic bike repair supplies will accompany the riders.
-Enjoy the beautiful Gateway trail.
