Film festival submissions are open
The Square Lake Film Festival accepts submissions for the 2013 Square Lake Festival in the following manner: Early submission deadline- June 4th ($15). Regular submission deadline- June 27th ($25). Late submission deadline- July 9th ($35).
Our festival jury includes Shawn Otto, Gayle Knutson, as well as Jeff Stonehouse and Trace Beaulieu of Mystery Science Theater 3000 fame.
Prizes will be awarded to filmmakers.
How to submit?
-Send us one copy of your submission on data DVD in QuickTime format. We project on a 16:9 screen, so wide format submissions are welcomed.
-Signed release form. Click here to download.

Please include a check written out to “Square Lake Productions”, send a PayPal payment to squarelakeproductions@gmail.com, or click below and make a PayPal film submission payment.
Each year we screen approximately 35-40 short films under 15 minutes in length. We will also consider films with longer runtimes. Films are shown in an indoor theater during the 30-minute stage transition times between musical performances on the outdoor stage. Once it is dark, we show films outdoors on a large screen and unveil a commissioned film score.
